Our Standards of Workmanship –

Appropriate fullness (typically 2 ½ to 3 times), proportion and suitability of the window treatments in your home are important for a “custom” look.

Pattern placement and matching on draperies, valances, cornice boards, and bedding at seams are key elements to a custom look versus “ready-made”.

Fringe, trims and embellishments are either hand-sewn or machine-stitched as appropriate for the treatment and finished look. Side and bottom hems may also be either hand-sewn or machine-stitched as appropriate for the fabric.

Linings used are of the highest quality and are selected best suited to the fabric and treatment.

Energy efficiency is a consideration in the function of window treatments. Lining and interlining increases the R-value of your window coverings, maintaining a more consistent interior temperature.
